Blueroom Projects (Pty) Ltd is a software and electronic engineering company. Our main function is to turn ideas into products. This is done in one of 3 ways.

  • People approach us with an idea and we develop the product for them on a time and materials basis.
  • We are approached by somebody with a great idea who is looking for a technology partner. In this case we would enter into a Joint Venture with the person/company and complete the project as a team, retaining an interest in the final product.
  • We are approached by someone with the need for a product who does not want to be involved in the development. In this case we would consider doing the development ourselves and depending on the requirements of the customer we would appoint them as either an exclusive or non-exclusive distributor of the product.

Essentially the core value the company can offer potential clients is the vast libraries of intellectual property that we have gathered over the years. This means that because we have done projects with the technology you are interested in already we are well experienced therein and can often get a prototype of your project ready in a very short space of time.


MISSION

Our mission at Blue Room Projects is to create as much re-usable intellectual property (building blocks) in leading edge technologies and apply this to projects and/or products that will earn long-term annuity based income.


TEAM

Our team embodies in depth skills in software engineering, electronic engineering, telecommunications, manufacturing, mould design, graphic and production design and project management - thereby providing a full product solution from concept phase to support.

Team members have completed numerous industry courses and are highly educated with Honors and Masters University Degrees. We work closely with various Universities on research projects and our team members regularly voluneer to give lectures at these universities and evaluate students according the the exteran examination requirements of ECSA (The Engineering Council of South Africa) and the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)

Our skills related to programming languages extends past writing software using C++, Visual basic or Transact-SQL. Our team is well versed in the principles of programming languages and would be able to develop using any programming language required. We have also developed our own languages such as GVM for specific applications and have written compilers and Virtual machines where and when required.
