Mini Genie - Low Cost Remote GSM Telemetry device
The Mini Genie is a low cost remote GSM telemetry device having both SMS
and GPRS capabilities. The Mini Genie a low cost version of the GSM Genie. Using the unique scripting language (G-Script) the
Mini Genie could be configured to the clients specific needs.
Control of the Mini Genie platform is customizable via a scripting language. Scripting languages (commonly called scripting programming languages or script languages) are computer programming languages created to shorten the traditional edit-compile-link-run process.
The scripting language gives full access to the various hardware components and allows for each to be orchestrated in a controlled manner. The scripts can be uploaded over the serial port or, for units the field, over the air via the GSM module.
The scripting language is event driven, responding to changes in the environment and executing predefined actions. The language allows for complex expressions to be evaluated based on the current machine state.
Examples are:
- When the Sensor reading exceeds a preset value then send an sms
- When the input line voltage goes low, switch on the alarm
- When "Open" is received from 0821234567 then open gate
